Carl Gregory - Narrator

Carl is a Newcastle-based actor, writer, and director. Since 2008, he has been an active part of the city’s thriving theatre community, performing in more than 50 productions across many of Newcastle’s most prolific theatre companies. Previous roles include Elias 'Red' Redding in The Shawshank Redemption (Hunter Drama), Elwood P. Dowd in Harvey (Newcastle Theatre Company), Richard Hannay in The 39 Steps (Metropolitan Players), Inspector Kemp and Victor von Frankenstein in Young Frankenstein (Opera Hunter) and many more. From 2014 - 2019, Carl was a member of the City of Newcastle Drama Association’s (CONDA) judging panel. Carl is beyond stoked to be once again collaborating with The Very Popular Theatre Company, following his role as Bobby in their 2020 livestream production of Awkward Conversations with Animals I’ve F*cked.
