Anaiya Mahony

Evelyn Parkes

Anaiya's journey in the performing arts began at just 5 years old, with acting classes at Upstage Youth Theatre. She then attended Hunter School of the Performing Arts, making her start in a wide range of shows within the Newcastle theatre scene. Years of training at Hunter Drama culminated in her completion of the Pre-Diploma of Musical Theatre in 2021-2022 and in 2023, Anaiya graduated from the prestigious Talent Development Project in Sydney. Anaiya has performed in various theatrical productions over the years, taking on a variety of character and ensemble roles as well as being a featured vocalist in Starstruck. In 2022 Anaiya received her first CONDA award for her role of Gertrude Mcfuzz in Seussical the Musical (Hunter Drama). Anaiya is delighted to be making her debut with the Very Popular Theatre Company.

Evelyn has been a student of Hunter Drama for the last 8 years. She has participated in drama and musical theatre courses, and was a successful auditionee for HD’s 2022/23 Actor’s Company, and will this year undertake the Pre Diploma of Musical Theatre.  She has now joined the teaching staff at Hunter Drama. Some of her performance highlights include playing Kaliope in ‘She Kills Monsters’ (Hunter Drama), Lucy in ‘Normal’ (Hunter Drama), and Crystal in ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ (Callaghan College).  Evelyn was a City of Newcastle Drama Association (CONDA) Youth Ambassador for 2022 and 2023, becoming an active member of the Newcastle theatre community.  She also has an interest in photography and was accepted into the prestigious Art Express Exhibition for her HSC body of work “We’re All Mad Here”.  Evelyn is delighted to be making her debut with the Very Popular Theatre Company.

Nyah Le

During her study at Hunter School of the performing arts and her training at Hunter drama, Nyah Le has participated in a number of shows from musicals, to pilots, to plays, receiving accolades for her work over the years. In 2022 Nyah Le received Hunter Drama’s Young Actors Scholarship, followed by 2023 when she received HSPA’s IDA face Drama & Music award as well as a CONDA award for excellence in a leading role. In 2024, she received the JTF Allstar award after performing in JTF Atlanta as a part of the Aussie Allstars tour. She works hard in HSPA’s senior music course and drama course, and this dedication extends to her her involvement in Starstruck as a featured artist, as well as her work as a member of Hunter Drama’s Actor’s Company. She hopes to take this dedication and passion with her into the future. Nyah is thrilled to be making her debut for The Very Popular Theatre Company.

Ruby Page

Ruby began acting in 2010, having her start at Young People’s Theatre and Hunter School of the Performing Arts. She has performed in various shows over the years with her most notable roles including Kira Kelly in ‘Where in the World is Frank Sparrow (HSPA) earning Ruby her first CONDA nomination and Kate in ‘As I Lay Dreaming’ (HSPA) awarding Ruby her first CONDA win. Her most recent role was with Alls One Theatre as Nina in ‘The Seagull’. Ruby is thrilled to be making her debut for The Very Popular Theatre Company.

Sienna Randall

Sienna Randall is a versatile actor and musical theatre performer based in Brisbane. With an undeniable passion for the stage, Sienna has performed with multiple theatre companies in South-East Queensland, and has represented Australia in Atlanta as part of the Junior Theatre Festival Aussie All Stars. Her training with Queensland Theatre Youth Ensemble, Brisbane Arts and the Young Conservatorium has progressed her exceptional talent, earning her acclaim for her performances in a diverse range of musicals. Sienna is set to reach a significant milestone in her career, making her professional debut in Girls Like That as well as her debut with ‘The Very Popular Theatre Company’. Sienna has received recognition for her acting, receiving the Soroptimist shield for the ‘Best Female Actor’ in the Beenleigh Drama Festival in 2023, and being named ‘Vocal Champion’ at the Australian Festival of Performing Arts. Sienna promises to continue captivating audiences, leaving an enduring legacy in the Arts industry.

Symphony Riley

Symphony has been entertaining on stage from a very young age. Her main performance genre being singing has given her opportunities to perform at various conferences and festivals. She has been a featured vocalist in Star Struck for the last 3 years and in 2023 performed in 40 years of School Spectacular with her tribute to Tina Turner’s “The Best”.  At the age of 11 Symphony was accepted into Hunter School of the Performing Arts and performed her first drama role as Ursula in The Little Mermaid at the age of 12. Symphony’s highest drama accolade was receiving a CONDA last year (2023) for her Performance as Paulette Belafonte for Best Supporting Role under the age of 18 in the HSPA production of Legally Blonde; other roles Symphony has played are lil Inez - Hairspray and Carmen Diaz in Fame (Bling Performing Arts Studio). Symphony is thrilled to be making her debut for The Very Popular Theatre Company.
