VICTOR EMELJANOW LEGACY AWARD
2022 marks the third winner of this legacy award named in honour of original Very Popular Theatre Company Artistic Director, Victor Emeljanow.
This award recognises an outstanding individual displaying strong leadership within the Arts community and who has played a key role in upholding the professional infrastructure not just within The Very Popular Theatre Company but of the arts in our region.

Previous winners have included Brooke Lidbury (2019) and Luke Power (2021). Winners are selected from a shortlist of nominees chosen each year by the company's Associate Artists and Producers. Nominees are performers and artists who have been involved in one or more productions from The Very Popular Theatre Company's current season of productions.

Jason was announced as the winner for 2022 at the closing night party of Jersey Boys at the Civic Theatre in Saturday 22nd October by Victor Emeljanow's daughter and Very Popular Theatre Company Associate Director, Alexandra Emeljanow.
