MEET THE FOUR SEASONS
A graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), Ross has performed & starred on both Australian & International Stages. Australian Theatre credits include: West Side Story (The Production Company), The Drowsy Chaperone (Squabbalogic Theatre Company), ‘Willie Lopez’ in Ghost The Musical (Ambassador Theatre Group), Man of La Mancha (Squabbalogic Theatre Company), Aladdin The Musical (Disney Theatricals Australia), The Rocky Horror Show (GFO) & Shrek the Musical (GFO). Ross has returned to Australia from working in the United Kingdom – where he performed in the No.1 UK Tour of ‘The Rocky Horror Show’ for Trafalgar Entertainment where he starred as the principal role of ‘Eddie/Dr.Scott’. Most recently, Ross performed the role of ‘Al DeLuca’ in Darlinghurst Theatre Company’s A CHORUS LINE at the Sydney Opera House & ‘Tony Aronica’ in the sellout season of John Patrick Shanley’s SAVAGE IN LIMBO.
Jarrod Sansom has been on a brief hiatus from the stage. Previously, he has received City of Newcastle Drama Award nominations for each of his three lead roles in THE ONE DAY OF THE YEAR (Newcastle Theatre Company), CHICAGO (Theatre on Brunker), and KID STAKES (Newcastle Theatre Company). As a current PhD student at The University of Newcastle, his research explores the relationship between Facebook use and division in society. Off the stage, Jarrod has enjoyed a diverse range of careers working as a sessional academic at The University of Newcastle, a community liaison officer at The Australian National University, and an electorate officer at Parliament of NSW. He is a Ma and Morley scholar, a JB Fairfax Award winner, a Heywire winner, and was a finalist for the 2021 Fulbright Scholarship, the 2020 Rhodes Scholarship, the 2019 and 2020 Young Achiever Awards NSW/ACT, and the 2018 Mid-Year Walkley Awards. JERSEY BOYS will mark Jarrod's return to the stage and will be his debut performance for The Very Popular heatre Company.
Luke has been involved in theatre for the past 10 years and started his performing career with Maitland Repertory’s ALL FOR YOUR DELIGHT. Since then, Luke’s stage credits have included CHESS (The Very Popular Theatre Company), Judas in GODSPELL (Theatre On Brunker), FOOTROT FLATS (Theatre On Brunker), Fred Casely in CHICAGO (SNAP Productions), PHANTOM OF THE OPERA (Metropolitan Players), WICKED (Metropolitan Players), LES MISÉRABLES (Metropolitan Players), Giles Corey in THE CRUCIBLE (Lindsay Street Players), GOOD MURDER (Newcastle Theatre Company), COMPANY (Newcastle Theatre Company), DANCING AT LUGHNASA (Newcastle Theatre Company) and Fr Brendan Flynn in DOUBT (Newcastle Theatre Company). Luke is is also the recipient of the 2021 Victor Emeljanow Legacy Award.
A Multi-talented, instrumentalist, actor and singer, Thomas James was exposed to the arts from a young age through his very musical family. Having recently graduated from Hunter School of Performing Arts in Broadmeadow and the Talent Development Project (TDP) in Sydney, Thomas has already credits to his name with performances including Audrey II in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (Opera Hunter) and Arpad in SHE LOVES ME (Opera Hunter). Thomas was also a featured artist in the arena spectacular STAR STRUCK from 2013 to 2019. More recently, Thomas has been performing as a solo singer-guitarist performing in venues around Newcastle, the Hunter Valley, and the Central Coast. He also spends his time writing songs, and tutoring music students in piano, guitar and singing. JERSEY BOYS will be Thomas' debut performance for The Very Popular Theatre Company.
